White House Redecoration

It must have been a bit of a bummer for all those pilgrims wanting to visit the presidential shrine and to find that it was shut upon their arrival. Many will have travelled long distances to pay homage to presidents past and present. What a disappointment, but look on the bright side the new colour scheme will give the old house a wonderful vibrant aspect, radiating a sumptuous healthy glow that will lift the spirits. 

Unfortunately the hawkers and sellers of tourist trinkets and memorabilia will find it a bit daunting having to change the colour of all their key ring fobs, plastic models, tee-shirts and bobble hats. But it could be a boost for the sellers of satsumas, fizzy orange drinks, Cheetos and vitamin C tablets. Orange of course, was quite popular with past presidents. Remember Agent Orange (not some kids toy akin to Action Man) but the defoliant that was sprayed in copious amounts in Vietnam radiating an unhealthy glow.
